Dr. Yael Aschner, MD

She needs to learn how to listen to patients rather than making assumptions. I feel like I spent most of the appointment needing to justify why I wanted to hold off on certain testing. She also didn't understand most of the health issues I have, but just made assumptions anyways and asked if I'm seeing a therapist. My anxiety around the appointment was primarily because I was concerned about not being heard based on past experiences at UCH. I see Dr. Aschner is no different and is yet another biased physician encouraging systemic negligence at UCH.

She allowed my dad to past away without giving him the full treatment as indicated in his records. She made it personal because I ask that she not continue to say my father isnt going to make it. And if he did he would be brain dead during him getting CPR and then stopped all attempt by pulling everyone off of him and he was still alive. I was recording everything and it was the saddest day in my life. No he didnt have covid. Horrible bed side manner and has to much power to say who lives and who dies. yes a black elderly veteran. Didnt mean nothing to her but was the world to me. If I could which there should be an option to leave 0 stars I would do just that
