My father was diagnosed with stage 3B small cell lung cancer in 2023. Dr. Zhao and Dr. Butler (the radiologist) did a phenomenal job with their treatments. Dr. Zhao is energetic, personable, and pays good attention to detail. The first thing he asked when we met him was about some of my father’s medications. He had some concerns about his blood thinner and opted for us to try something newer. It is working out beautifully, and my father doesn't have to get his blood tested every week. He explains things so they are easily obtainable. He lets you know all your options before, throughout, and after the process. Any issue you may be having, he addresses with professionalism and wants his patients as comfortable as possible. I am glad we went with the team at Caromont!
