I feel fortunate to have found Dr. Urman
I find Dr. Urman to be a kind, thoughtful, and caring doc. She seems to always have time for me when I need it and I feel safe and secure with her. I was in the middle of dealing with a health problem and waited a year to see her and I'm so glad I waited. I almost went with a concierge doctor and feel like she's almost as accessible as a concierge doc would be. And when my husband had heart troubles she knew exactly who to call and got him into the best clinic at the BI immediately. Dr. Urman and her head nurse eleni are both wonderful and her administrative staff Zack and Irina crème de la crème. They are quick to copy things for you and answer promptly when needed.

Tried to set up a short get-to-know you visit, as I needed a new primary care physician. Doctor seemed completely frazzled. First step by the Dr. was to tell me that I needed to stop all supplements as only the Dr. has the authority to suggest supplements. (Nice way to take away agency from patients, right?) The droning lectures continued. It never seemed to occur to the doctor to ask my priorities. Today I get a $360 bill for this charade. At least I did find a doctor - elsewhere.
