Doesn’t listen to your questions. Responds without concern to you. His assistant is incompetent and never sends script in. This office needs revamping. Always have to wait in office sometimes 45 minutes. Type 1 diabetics are not treated well here.

Failed to send out multiple prescriptions for insulin multiple times. His assistant is absolutely terrible, I had to go in in person to get them to send a prescription. Waited two hours in the office then they told me they sent. Get to the pharmacy turns out they hadn’t sent it. She’s literally forgotten to get my prescription approved and sent atleast three times. If you see Gofnung expect to be hostpitilized due to their incompetence. If you’re a type 1 Diabetic avoid at all costs.

Easily the least caring doctor I have ever had the misfortune to see. I’ve suffered from hypothyroidism since adolescence and the levothyroxine wasn’t helping. I went to see Dr. Gofnung and explained that I was experiencing debilitating fatigue, that I was tired all the time for no reason. He said, “I’m tired, too, maybe I should go see a doctor!” Completely dismissed my symptoms. Recently, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s by a doctor who actually took the time to listen to me.

I chose this doctor when I moved into the area. I have had several endocrinologists over the past decade plus due to hypothyroidism. They all monitor many blood tests such as lipid panel, liver function etc. This one just looks at a couple of thyroid tests. I took the very first appointment at 7:40am and the doctor was still 40 minutes late. I am not exaggerating when I say he spent less than 2 minutes with me.

Booked my first appointment with Dr .gofnug without any reference and I am very lucky to see him.He was extremely patient and guided me in the right direction at the right time, to carry my pregnancy inspite of thyroid complications and suggested one of the best surgeons. He used to coordinate with my gynecologist with lots of patience. He was extremely helpful and caring through out the treatment. I would highly recommend him for thyroid disorders.

I met with the very pleasant Doctor Gofnung for a second opinion re: a thyroid nodule for a 15 minute appointment. No tests were done (he did ask me to go have some tests, but not even an order was written up). No exam was given (he did touch my neck). We talked. For 15 minutes. I have a PPO, and the bill just showed up: $780. For 15 minutes. Which means his hourly rate is $3,120. Again, he was pleasant, but $3120/HOUR - ARE YOU INSANE? My portion of the bill is almost $500 (applied

I've had a rather extensive medical history, starting with lymphoblastic leukemia at age 10, andhave seen a great many doctors in my 64 years. This guy is the tops. He listens well. He asks pertinent questions. He explains his procedure and, if you have them, the other doctors' procedures very well. I got more out of him than the other four doctors I'm seeing for this particular health problem. I have never written a review before, but it is my conclusion this doctor walks on water. :)
