A friendly greeting from personal at office. Appt went on schedule. Dr. McConnell was gracious and thorough with her explanation of my situation, and her plan for my treatment. She is an excellent listener, and communicator. My husband and I both felt very comfortable, and that all our concerns were met. I look forward to a good result with my situation.

I highly recommend Dr. McConnell and her staff. They did a fantastic job with my lumpectomy. I felt incredibly informed, supported, and provided with outstanding care. I have an anxiety disorder, so experiences like having surgery can be extremely challenging for me but with the kindness and gentle care of Dr. McConnell and her team, my anxiety was put at ease. The appointments in her office and surgery went so smoothly and truly made this experience the best possible. I’m so grateful for the wonderful team and care that was provided.

This is my first visit to Doc McConnell and she very quickly put me at ease with her knowledge of my case, and her emotional intelligence working with me. She explained process and steps we are going to take, and set my mind at ease with her responses to my questions. I also appreciated her sense of humor through the process as I am a person who prefers to walk through life amused, even in difficult circumstances. I look forward to working with her to resolve my condition.

I have been seeing Dr. McConnell for the last 6 months. She was open and honest from the very beginning. She listened to my concerns and even did extra research to answer my questions in detail. I choose to have her do my surgery because of her attention to detail. She was kind and understanding with my anxiety about hospitals and surgery. My scar is barely noticeable after only 1 month. I highly recommend her and would use her again if the need arises.

Dr. McConnell was my oncology surgeon recently as I underwent treatment for Stage 3 breast cancer. Not only is she a remarkable surgeon, but a genuinely kind, compassionate and caring human being! She's a huge part of my cancer survivor story and I will be forever grateful!

Dr.McConnell took care of me at VGH in Vancouver,B.C for approximately a year and a half before moving to Washington. She is not only an extraordinary doctor but also an extraordinary human. I not only felt taken care of at a top medical level but also on a personal level. She is accessible,kind and smart as a whip. You will be lucky to see her during what I imagine will be an unlucky personal time. You will be in the very best hands. Full-stop.
