Appointments seem a little bit rushed
Every time I visit Doctor Badr, I always end up speaking with his nurses, which I do not like because I would much rather speak with Dr. Badr himself. I comprehend that he is a neurosurgeon, and that he does not have 'time' to come into the room to speak with each patient. However, one time after my brain surgery, he did come into the room and speak with me. He asked me if I was having any similar symptoms after my brain surgery was done by him. Overall, he has a good personality when speaking with his patients, and I am so grateful for him that he decided to do my surgery on time. Thank you very much, Dr. Badr. Because of you, now, I am continuing my life back to normal. I truly appreciate it.

Thank you to Dr Badr & Sierra Neuroscience team
Thank you to Dr Badr, the Sierra Neuroscience Institute practitioners and the Glendale Adventist Health Care team. Our family cannot express our thank you enough for all of your care and attention. Three weeks ago, I reached out to Dr Badr and his team to consult on my uncle’s degenerative spine diagnosis and symptoms. Dr Badr and his team ordered the proper scans and reviewed them with us carefully discussing the signs of wear and tear, and informing us the next preoperative steps and surgical plan. Dr. Badr made sure to answer all of our questions and concerns. Within just days of post-op, I saw my uncle’s bright smile back. No more nerve pain, stabbing, tingling or numbness. I watched as occupational and physical therapy went over exercises and every day activities with him to optimize his recovery and aftercare. To see my uncle take his first steps, see him standing tall again and then to see his operative hardware images.. I am so glad that I made the call. Thank you Dr Badr

BEST SPINE AND BRAIN SURGEON
We sought Dr. Badr's opinion on a tumor and he immediately gave the correct diagnosis. The tumor was in a very sensitive location (C1/C2 portion of the spine) so the surgery was very high risk. We sought the opinions of 4 neurosurgeons: Dr. Badr, USC, UCI, and St. Joseph's. Dr. Badr made us feel most at ease. One of the doctors mentioned above refused to do the surgery saying it was very high risk for them. The other two mentioned a high likelihood of paralysis and even possibly death during surgery due to the location. Prior to the surgery, the entire right side of the body was paralyzed. Walking was impossible. Dr. Badr explained his surgery technique and his was the least invasive and offered the best chance of recovery. Dr. Badr saved my life. The surgery was a total success. I'm walking again. I can move my arms again. What he did for me will never be forgotten by our entire family. I thanked G-d first, then Dr. Badr. He's the best surgeon we've come across.

I was getting an epidural for pain every 4-5 months for two years. I was suicidal .. I didn’t want to live any longer with the pain but was terrified of back surgery. Finally my pain Dr told me about Dr Badr. I trusted him after rejecting two other neurosurgeons. I am totally pain free now!!! He is the best surgeon…. Even the anesthesiologist said he gets the best results. Thank you Dr Badr… you saved my life…. I am living happy again!!

Dr. Badr the most amazing Dr. You would ever find. Thanks to him his staff my mother has been pain free since her surgery on Sept 20, 2021. She had been suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia for about 5 years..there was not a day my mother would not get terrible Electric shocks in her mouth that would desperately drive her crazy. To the point Dr's Had extracted almost all her molers and was missed diagnosed. Dr. BADR found the problem.. blood vessels and muscles were compressing a nerve which caused this horrible pain. But Thanks to The amazing Dr.Badr NO MORE PAIN!! I highly recommend Dr. Badr. Go to him you wont regret it..he's the best of the best. GBH ALWAYS!!

Thanks to Dr. Badr I no longer have to deal with the painful headaches. He removed most of the tumor that was pushing on the brain stem. The rest was too dangerous and I'm glad he made that call since it could have sent me into a stroke. I'm still a work in progress but thanks to Dr. Badr and his staff I feel confident that I will continue to receive the care and attention needed to get through it. I am very grateful and thank God for this opportunity.

Dr. Badr is a one-of-a-kind neurosurgeon. After struggling for over a year with recent hydrocephalus problems, and going through eight adjustments with my former neurosurgeon who gave up on dealing with my problems, Dr. Badr saw me in the Glendale Adventist ER. He saw how bad my CT scan was-with active hydrocephalus-and performed an emergency surgery. Due to my advance hydrocephalus, Dr. Badr has to later give me a second shunt and an endoscopic third ventriculostomy. I am so grateful for Dr. Badr’s expertise. He is not only very kind and caring but also has phenomenal support from his staff in his office. I can’t express with mere words how grateful I am for everything Dr. Badr has done for me. He has given me my life back. I was on opioid painkillers every day before I met Dr. Badr. Yet I have not taken even one painkiller since I left the hospital after my surgeries. He has truly changed my life; given me my life back. Thank you, Dr. Badr.

this review is against the staff I have been calling them for over a month and it always goes to VM messages, either calling in the morning or after lunch break. I even attempted to leave VM and no one has even return my call back. Today, i fnially had someone answer the call and yet i had been put on hold for more than 15 mins. They constantly picking up and back on hold again for several times without saying a word. Someone finally answer and she was being rude and unreasonable even said " i am not going to argue with you (patient), you just have to keep calling". If so, then why bother to have patient to leave VM?? This is kind of attidude, she shouldn't been a nurse nor working at any clinics field at all. She wasn't in any helpful way to make the patients feel better after I explained my experience that I truly have hard time to contact them. I won't visit this doctor to discuss about my spinal surgery. no confident Thanks.,

I had previously gone for other opinions, after years of ongoing neck pain and discomfort, that resulted in major loss of use of my left shoulder and arm. When I met with Dr Badr and his staff, he was able to explain to me, the best surgical procedure for my neck issues. Of the two other Neurosurgeons I had previously met with, I felt that Dr Badr was the most knowledgeable and that my diagnosis could be treated with the surgical procedure he recommended. I had the surgery just a few weeks ago and I am already seeing immediate benefits. Dr. Badr explained that if I do the required physical therapy and exercise, now that he has repaired that part of my neck, I should have the ability to regain the needed muscle, that will work towards finally regaining strength and use of my arm and shoulder. And of course, as important,it has relieved years of neck pain. I would highly recommend Dr Badr and staff.Thank you Katy, Wendy, Stephanie, Jessica, Kristen and Drs at Sierra Neuroscience Institute
