Dr. Yasmine Kareem, MD

She is rude and snippy. Truly awful. She’ll talk down to you like a child and seems bothered when you ask questions. The staff doesn’t answer the phone or return calls. Go somewhere else. This place is so bad.

To start, the cabinet in the bathroom was almost completely full. I could barely fit my cup in, and now I am wondering if this is why it’s been almost two weeks and I have yet to receive my results from my pap. I have been getting Pap smears for years now and I have never had to wait this long for my results, especially because I am having issues. Second, there were no clean pens in the bathroom all of them were in the dirty cup. It is evident that this staff is not doing their job. Thirdly, I’ve tried calling multiple times and it is impossible to get anyone on the phone. It seems the only way you can reach anyone at this facility is through the patient portal which is ridiculous. It is safe to say I will not be returning to this gynecologist office.

I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor than by Dr. Yasmine Kareem. I was her patient and was being seen by a nurse that day but received bad news about my baby and asked to see her so I could ask a question. She said she was too busy to stop by and that she would not answer my question, even though I saw her in the hallway. I sat there crying in my room waiting while the nurse returned and said, “I’m sorry but I can’t force her to come in here.” All I wanted was a doctor to give me an answer to a life altering decision for one second of her time and she turned me down. I will never return to this clinic. My doctors in other states were kind, compassionate and friendly. She had none of those traits towards me as a patient In need.

She makes you feel right at home and everyone is nice.

My new patient appointment with Dr. Kareem was during the Covid pandemic. No one checked that I was wearing a mask or to take my temperature. The woman at reception who was not wearing a mask and asked me the Covid questions from less than 6 feet away. I had filled out my medical history online prior to my visit and they lost my records. I filled them out again with a nurse, then had to ask me again for them to reenter because she deleted everything by accident. The exam room floor was sticky, like a movie theater. Dr Kareem rushed me through my exam, and I could tell from her questions she asked she had not even looked at my medical information prior to seeing me. After the exam I had more questions for her, but the stool she had been sitting on with dirty wheels seemed to need her immediate attention instead of me. I felt like just another number, not a patient. She has no lab facilities and the third party testing was inconvenient. I didn't bother. She is no longer my doctor.

I could not have had a poorer experience with this doctor and practice. My needs were not addressed- being a college student, I find it difficult to interact with a medical professional that didn’t treat me with a juvenile manner. Her “bedside manners” were laughable and I left with unanswered questions and feeling as though I were treated like a child. Dr. Kareem, please treat all of your patients with respect if you wish to continue seeing them. My prescription was never processed and it is nearly impossible to get in any contact with a physician about it. Don’t come here if you want to be treated with respect as a woman and as a person.

Always a pleasure to visit this doctor’s office. Friendly, helpful staff, amazing doctors who take time and care about my concerns. Also, they are on the front line of technology with their check in process, pre-appointment paperwork online and patient portal information for post visit updates of results. Cannot say enough about what a great OB/GYN group this is, the best in the area.

Due to my husbands work hours, I often have to bring my 2 year old and now my newborn, to appointments, which can be a hassle for me. But as always, the staff and Dr. Kareem were interactive with my 2 year old and made it less stressful for me.

Dr. Kareem seems to be very experienced and I feel very comfortable with her.
