Only motivated to help pregnant patients allegedly
Dr. Zubatov managed my care when I was first dx with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. Despite being on Levothyroxine for over a year, I continued to experience significant health decline, and my levels were NOT in range. When I raised concerns, she explicitly stated that further investigation wasn't necessary unless I was planning to become pregnant. I am a lesbian who doesn't plan to conceive and give birth in order to become a parent. This attitude and response from Dr. Zubatov felt incredibly dismissive and discriminatory, as it seemed to disregard my overall health and quality of life beyond reproductive considerations. She admitted to giving up on trying to help me, because she allegedly doesn't care that I'm in pain and fatigued, unless I want to have childbirth - then she'll look into it (apparently). It's just beyond unacceptable bedside manner. Thankfully now I have a care team who is actually willing to help me, and sees me as a full human being with autonomy.

Amazingly knowledgeable !! I
I finally feel that I’m not alone and blind and need to self treat; the doctor has a solid plan, personally she felt like a young Dr house in a female body, very sharp and quick to connect and explain symptoms and how to verify her hypothesis; her approach is based on science, and latest research studies. It was clear she is passionate in the field, not another doctor. She also explains extremely well, well enough for a child: the hormonal processes, vitamin deficiencies and numbers from blood panel that I couldn’t very well connect before by self-educating (most of my life), which most docs ignored if they couldn’t help or explain. Looking forward to getting better and best with my new doc.

Horrible
She took me off my thyroid medication and my Hashimoto’s came back really badly and she neglected to do the Thyroid Peroxidase test. so it got progressively worse and I had no idea why I was so sick until I saw a new doctor and they saw that my numbers were off the chart. she’s the worst ever!

I would recommend Dr. Zubatov
I started seeing Dr. Zubatov early this year, 2023. She is incredibly attentive, and took the time to walk me through her thought process and educate me on the tests that she would perform to check on my endocrine system. She has great bedside manners, is knowledgeable and asks good questions. She is also open to listening to one's concerns and was incredibly responsive when I messaged her through the Mychart NYU langone portal. I would definitely recommend her!
