Compassionate Dr. Tran
Any words would fall short when describing Dr. Tran care and empathy provided to our teen. She really 'connects' with her patients and their family. She is the embodiment of professional with a great bedside manner. My kid's overall life has been improved under her compassionate approach and giving us all the resources available to get her better. She didn’t seem to care one bit
When we were referred to Dr. Tran for suspected seizures via Texas Children’s Pediatrics, but we were giving an appointment months out in regards to something that had been going on for a while and seemed to be getting worse. We expressed concern with the timeframe, as she would be 18 by the time they wanted to see her. Of course she turned 18 and at her appointment with Dr. Tran, Dr. Tran immediately gave her an referral to see an adult neurologist. The only time Dr. Tran looked into her files was when requested by her colleague after we expressed concern. Shout out to the rest of the Texas Children’s Professionals that took my daughters health seriously and did everything possible to ensure my daughter remains in her best health. They continue to see her and remain committed to her until they can safely say she’s ok. But this was not our experience with Dr. Tran.

She’s caring, easy to understand and knowledgeable about epilepsy. My teenager was able to open up to her about her concerns. Her nurses are great as well.

In my opinion, Dr. Tran did not genuinely care about my daughter's condition/epilepsy. The energy as a parent I received from her was one of negativity. The only thing she wanted to do-prescribe her drug and then go back to her office. My husband and I walked out of the building, looked at each other and immediately knew this was not the choice for us. My daughter had a grand mal seizure 4 days after the appointment, 9-1-1 was called and not once did she call to check on her. 0% Care Factor.

Finally a doctor that will listen to you and treat you like you are human. And she wants to get you well not just give you drugs.
