Excellent surgeon
Dr. Yen was my son's surgeon, and he has been outstanding. He is extremely skilled, he explains everything very clearly, and he truly cares about his patients. We are very grateful for his care, and could not recommend him more highly.

My daughter has an unstable patella and had several dislocations starting when she was only 7. We saw a doctor at UMass in Worcester (near our home) and were not satisfied with her treatment. We waited a long time for an appt with Dr. Yen but the wait was worth it as the experience was night and day compared to the previous doc. We have now been seeing him for 4 years and are happy with her progress. He has a great rapport with kids and I trust him implicitly. Highly recommend!!

My daughter has Osteochondritis Dissecans. She has been treated by Dr Yen for the past 6 years. While this is a somewhat rare condition, Dr Yen has a lot of experience treating it. She is a challenging case as she has had 3 chondral lesions over the past 6 years. It is rare to get one, especially for a child as young as 8 when it started and for someone who isn't an athlete. He is extremely compassionate and cares deeply about his pts. I would highly recommend.
