A very patient caring doctor who communicates well
I saw Dr. Yogen Patel at the Elmhurst Hospital offices. He was on time and easy to communicate with. Dr. Patel carefully explained to me his diagnosis and his recommended treatment. I was impressed with his sincerity to care for me. He answered all my questions and wanted to be sure I understood all my treatment options. During my procedure, Dr. Patel was very professional, and skillfully corrected the cause of my pain. He quickly gained my respect as a knowledgeable medical provider. I highly recommend him for patients in need of expert pain care.

Good luck getting an appointment
I have been calling for weeks now and I still can not get an appointment or someone to answer the phone / call back. When someone does answer the staff is very rude at answering my questions and it seems as though I am a bother to their work.

Expect to wait
So when I seen Dr. Patel he gave me incorrect information on needing a driver after a procedure and if you call the office set aside half a day to wait on hold. When you call the only option is to wait and the message is , in my experience, the hold time is over 15 minutes. It is typically way over 15 minutes.

He is a good listener to better understand concern
Dr. Patel is patient oriented and listens well to concerns to better understand my issues. Based on that I believe his goal was to provide the best service and procedures to ensure my health care was being taken care of 100%. I am grateful to Dr. Patel because I feel so much better because of his support.

Don’t care
Drove over an hour to see Dr Patel thinking my appointment for my sons concussion was @ 3:30 made it to the office at 3:15 5 mins after there cut off time told them that my appointment was @ 3:30 he was still there & didn’t see my son. I understand that it was a mix up of the time but, for me to say I drove over a hour & he didn’t take him tell me a lot about how much he cares these reviews on him can’t honestly be true I will NEVER recommend nor bring anyone to this office & will advise otherwise.
