I discovered bleeding at 9 weeks pregnant and my husband rushed me to Spotsylvania Regional. While there was a wait in the ER, which was busy, Dr. Hickerson came into the waiting room to check on and speak to patients, including myself. He was kind, gentle and had incredible bedside manner. Once I was eventually seen by nurses and the ultrasound tech, Dr. Hickerson showed such care and concern when reassuring me that my baby had a healthy heartbeat and was doing well. He patiently stayed in the room with my husband and I, answering questions and spoke from his own experience as a father. Amazing doctor who Spotsylvania is very lucky to have in their E.R. and I'm very grateful for his care and kindness on that emotional and intense night.

Dr. Hickerson has an amazing bedside manner and is very thorough. He is attentive to needs and listens well. He took great care of me.

Misdiagnosed my wife with ulcers. Visited another hospital to find out her liver enzymes were highly elevated, she has pancreatitis and her gall bladder needed to be removed.
