Dr. Yoshiko Hapke, MD

I was contacted for collateral information regarding a patient, and my interaction with Dr. Hapke was troubling. She was abrupt and primarily focused on receiving short 'yes or no' answers, frequently interrupting me when I attempted to elaborate. When I asked a clarifying question, she did not respond and instead reprimanded me. This left me feeling unsettled, so I requested the patient read the information Dr. Hapke had documented in their chart. Later, I discovered that Dr. Hapke had inaccurately quoted me in the patient's chart which raises concerns about the accuracy of their documentation and potential implications for patient care.

Rude, abrasive, unprofessional, incompetent. Perhaps this 'physician' would be better suited for the Veterans Administration, but I wouldn't wish that upon our soldiers. What's worse than the VA? I'm not sure, but this quack shouldn't be allowed near any patients.

There is no way that I'd recommend this "doctor", not even to someone I disliked. She tried to have me committed after an interview that lasted less than two minutes. This was promptly overridden by a competent doctor who was impartial. She is easily offended, and let her misunderstanding of a statement I made trigger an angry and emotional and completely irrational decision based on her personal feelings with absolutely no factual basis.
