Dr. Youssry Kelada, MD

This doctor has no interest in patient care. He runs his office like factory and he can't keep up. He overbooks and is forced to turn patients around in 15 minutes. I am never seen on time. I was early for my 10:30 am appointment and I didn't see the doctor until 40 minutes after my appointment time. He had no time to hear my concerns and tried to end the appointment. I had to demand that he listen to my needs as I had explained to the PA. Seems like he doesn't pay any attention to the PA notes. His only concern was that my blood pressure was high. But HE asked me why that is. I was puzzled because he's the doctor. High blood pressure is not a new condition for me and I've seen him 4 times since January. He had done nothing about my blood pressure, ie. medication, in all of my visits. Why would it have improved? Besides, making a patient with blood pressure issues wait might have been a factor. He is a pill pusher working an assembly line. If you value your health and you time seek care elsewhere.

Dr. Kelada is the most trusted physician in Placer County. He solves problems efficiently and with so much compassion.

The Office staff is horrible. They gave me incorrect information for my referral work. I wasted time, energy and money trying to figure it out. This was very stressful as I had just relocated from San Diego, CA. His staff is totally incompetent.

He has improved his office staff so getting appointments and seeing the doctor on time has improved immensely although turnover still seems to be a bit high. I have been seeing Dr. Kelada for a long time and we have a collaborative relationship where he takes my views and requests and tries to accommodate my wishes. I feel we are partners in my health issues.

Dr. Kelada is a Saint. Anyone with a thyroid disease knows how hard you have to advocate for yourself and how hard it is to be taken seriously. Dr. Kelada is the exception. He always listens to me. He never dismisses any of my concerns. He goes over every option available with me and we decide how to proceed together. He makes it a team process, which is the way a patient and doctor dynamic should work. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing that he is my doctor.

Dr Kelada’s staff has so much to be desired. They act like they’re doing you a favor by waiting on you. If you call & need to speak to one of the staff, you’ll be lucky to get a return call. I left his practice years ago But my husband wanted to stay with him until Dec of 2019 because of the negligence of the staff. After 33 years with him, my husband has finally gone to another doctor!!!!!

This is the worst office I have ever been to. Walking in, the waiting room chairs are all ripped and the office staff looks incredibly unprofessional. They had papers everywhere, broken chairs they were sitting on, binders stacked everywhere and food/drinks all over. The receptionist didn't know how to scan my insurance card and it took them a good 25 minutes to figure that out. In the meantime, I was given a huge stack of new patient paperwork that looked ANCIENT...more to come below.
