Excellent doctor!
I was a patient of Dr Huang for about 4 years or so. He was always very thorough having test run and fully explaining what to expect and the results. His last asst wasn’t as good as the one before but I managed. I haven’t been able to see a pulmonologist since last April.. If my car was more reliable I would try to see him in Chandler but it says they aren’t taking new clients. I think he is terrific, always had time to answer my questions. I wish he was closer

Dr Huang is an outstanding doctor. He always takes time to explain any of your concerns and goes over all test results with you. I have lived in 3 other states and had that many pulmonologists. He is by far the best one I have ever gone too. He improved my life by adjusting medications to allow me to do much more. I highly recommend him. He also has a great assistant who has also been very helpful.

Pointless wait for no help
I waited 3 months to get in to their office. They confirmed that they accept my insurance on January 8th, a full month before my appointment. It was a two-day process while they checked everything behind the scenes and assured me that we were good to go. Sergio at Tucson Pulmonology called me 2 hours before my appointment and told me that they do not accept my insurance. Now I have an unmonitored nodule in my lung while on immune suppressants and no pulmonologist to monitor my condition. Thanks to three months wasted waiting on Tucson Pulmonology PC. Unless I want to pay out of pocket while also trying to pay for two surgeries last fall and continued infusions for my other conditions. Which I have no ability to do. Drive to Phoenix. Tucson Pulmonology PC confirms one thing I have been taught since moving to Tucson over and over and over; I will die from something 100% preventable because of failures in Tucson medicine.

Dr. Huang was very thorough in his examination, and he ordered the scans and bloodwork required. More importantly, he spent the time to show us the scans, and explain in detail each concern. The Doctor even personally called me to let me know the results, while I was in the hospital, so that the other Doctors would know the results. Wonderful, knowledgeable, personable and considerate Doctor.

The doctor is fine. His "assistant" seems to be allergic to telephones. Doesn't return calls, barely returns emails. The very idea that a patient has to phone for 6 weeks to get a follow-up appointment, when each doctor in the office has an assistant, and there are 5 people behind the desks to answer phones. When I was in there another patient asked if anyone in there answered phones. The only time I got to speak to anyone was when I pressed the "speak to billing" option. He seems like a good doctor, but good luck getting in to see him! Plan to go elsewhere if possible.

He came into my appointment room without a mask, just a shield. The office is horribly run. They never return a call and it was very frustrating.

My first visit with Dr. Huang was amazing! He actually talked to me and didn't sit in front of the computer during the appointment inputting info. He is caring and understanding and I feel very safe with him as my doctor.
