Dr. Yuhong Gong, MD

Been seeing Dr. Gong for 2 years for 2 Thyroid auto-immune conditions. She's listened to me, allowed and answered my questions, and included me in course of treatment options. I plan to keep seeing her for treatment.

Dr. Gong was my mother's doctor at Winchester Hospital November 2019. She was admitted with severe lower back pain. After having an MRI and before a kidney biopsy, Dr. Gong MISDIAGNOSED my mother with terminal kidney cancer. The family was told to look into Hospice. My 90 lb mother was put on 10mg of Oxycodone ever 6 hrs. Within a few days, she had lost most of her cognitive abilities. Prior to being admitted, she had lived independently with her sister in a condo in Stoneham. Her MRI showed fractures in her lower back. "Left kidney mass, NO EVIDENCE OF MALIGNANCY" was the biopsy report findings one week later. My mother was sent to rehab and died 6 weeks later, never regaining her cognitive abilities.
