Failure to Provide Resolution
I was referred to Dr. Young by my PCP for the removal of a 9.8x7.2 cm benign hemangioma on my liver. Upon my arrival, I was told by Dr. Young they she would not be removing my cyst. Her rational was due to my only having only having one liver and that if it got messed up during surgery it cannot be fixed. She told me that my pain & discomfort could not be symptoms of my large hemangioma of the liver and that is is due to abdominal muscle strain. Her fix is PT for abdominal muscle strain. Her diagnosis belittles the diagnosis of Dr.’s Shah and Kim. Both doctors are experienced enough to know the difference between abdominal muscle strain and a large benign cyst on the liver. Yes, hemangiomas of the liver rarely cause symptoms. My hemangioma is not small. It is bigger (9.8x7.2 cm) than a baseball (7.6cm). I am now wondering if Dr. Young is a GI doctor or a true gastroenterologist surgeon. She totally disregarded the recommendation of my PCP and my condition.

Does not listen. Does not appear to care. She seems bothered to have to deal with patients. Has no advice or suggestions on how to deal with your ailment. Patients not treated with any compassion.
