Dr. Yuriy Shevtziv, MD

Went to this doctor for 12 years. I just fired him. I went to him the last couple of times complaining of dizziness, unbalance and pain. He told me to see my psychiatrist and go off some of my medicine because I seem fine to him and don't need it. I did that and am now on very little medicine. I was not satisfied with his answer so I did some research on how I've been feeling for months. Come to find out I'm suffering from very low b12. Started injections and supplements prescribed by my hemotologist. Neuropathy is getting worse and worse and my hair is falling out. So I made another appointment with him. He was so condescending, he said take this vitamin and that vitamin and as I tried to ask questions he said (nasty) YOU ARE NOT LISTENING TO ME!! I apologized and he said I PREFER TO HAVE INTELLIGENT CONVERSATIONS. He never reviewed my bloodwork he listened to my heart and lungs. I asked him if it was written down for me what to take and how much. His response was, WHAT? YOU CAN'T REMEMBER? I said no I can't. He acted disgusted and wrote it down and left the room. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I was so upset when I left I couldn't even drive my car.

Very professional and caring. Took the time to listen to any concerns I had. Staff was very efficient as well.

my first and only visit to dr shevtziv was disappointing and frustrating. He seemed rushed, didn’t want to listen to me and walked out of the exam room abruptly without even a goodbye. He didn’t take the time to review my prior history of bronchitis. Said it was allergies and to use my inhaler more often. After insisting I see another doctor someone reviewed my history and realized I had bronchitis and miraculously all of a sudden prescribed a z pack and steroids. Why did I have to fight to get proper treatment? I will never use this doctor again. He seemed too good to listen to what I was trying to communicate to him. Poor bed side manor.

My family doctor is the best doctor I've ever had. All diagnoses are confirmed by specialists. Visits are full and comprehensive !! He is the best in his profession. May such a doctor be as much as possible is my dream !!

My mother was in to see Dr. Shevtziv 1 and a half weeks before she was diagnosed with lung cancer that he failed to pick up on but a doctor at a walk in center knew immediately. I will never recommend him to anyone.
