Rude and doesn’t listen
The worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor and I’m in my 50’s. He made a rash judgement without even listening to me. In addition he seemed pushy, belittling, and aggressive. Will never go back - could not trust him when my health is at stake.

Dr. Coller & Jill
I am beyond happy with the care I have received from Dr. Coller and Jill. Anytime I have needed him without an appointment (on the weekend with Covid), I have received an immediate response. They listen, and they explain well. I have had several pulmonologists, and his office is absolutely my favorite!

Find another Pulmonologist
Would not recommend. I have been a Health Care Provider for over 35 years. He still subscribes to the 'Doctor is God' plan. He is bright, but he is a very condescending man. He is quick to judge and short to listen. Yearly appointments are cancelled with no explanation. Remember, 'He' doesn't owe you one. Nashville is full of great Pulmonologists. To be exact, 159 Board Certified Pulmonologists, many double Boarded. They all cost the same. They all take the same amount of time for you to see. Why not spend you time with someone who actually cares?

Bedside Manner Needs Improvement
The provider seems well educated and knowledgeable. Attempts to be respectful but also seems tone deaf to the patient when the patient tries to communicate concerns. He was completely dismissive to my experiences and nearly ignored my specific request for assistance with medical equipment until I readdressed the topic prior to my leaving the office.

Improved service
When I first went to Dr. Coller, I Felt his bedside manner wasn’t particularly good. However, since then he has taken the time to listen to me, and has taken the time to explain things that I needed to know in order to be successful using my BiPAP machine.

Bedside manner
I've been to Dr Coller a couple times now and both times his Bedside manner has left something to be desired. I'm all for being direct or clinical but his comments strike me as rude on occasion. He could temper some of his assessments of physical attributes with compassion.

Not a Great Experience
The front desk person in Dr. Coller's office was very pleasant, but that's pretty much where the pleasantries ended. His nurse was not friendly and ignored information I brought with me to correct errors I saw in my chart on the Ascension patient portal, saying it wouldn't be updated. She even laughed at me when I gave an incorrect answer to a question because I didn't hear what she asked the first time. When Dr. Coller came in, at first he was polite, but once we started reviewing and discussing my medical records, he became condescending, dismissive and impatient. He stated he knew I had sleep apnea and said I needed a sleep study. He gave me information about it, told me someone would call to schedule it, and couldn't wait to get me out of his office. He came off as rude and a know-it-all. He may be a good doctor, but I think he missed class the day 'bedside manner' was taught. Suffice it to say, I won't be moving forward with a sleep study.

No Sir.
He’s very rude, and dismissive of your concerns. Was really pushy about trying CPAP again, despite the issues I had before using it that were causing other issues. Basically said that what my other doctor had said was wrong and that CPAP was the only way. Even though this was my first visit with him and I had been going to this other doctor for years. My husband accompanied me to my appointment and my husband even got bad vibes from him. Left the appointment and knew I didn’t want to return to him for sure. Front staff were nice but rush you through the paperwork when you arrive early so you don’t have a clue what you are signing or filling out. Do yourself a favor and go see someone with better bedside manner.

Great Experience
Dr. Coller is a no-nonsense, to the point, doctor which I prefer. He is direct when it comes to diagnosing and options to help alleviate some of the issues. He has a great attitude as well. Those that prefer a “softer”, hand-holding, style bedside manner may take that as possibly being rude. I did not notice any rudeness at all during my visit.Dr. Coller is extremely knowledgeable and really cares for his patients’ health. He listened to all my concerns and answered any questions that I had. I had a great experience on both my initial in-office visit and my virtual follow up regarding next steps. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a Pulmonologist.
