Unprofessional & Unprepared
I was in a very serious car crash with a Semi where I was injured in multiple areas. I was supposed to be seen by Dr.Domont today, but after waiting over 30 minutes I had to give up as it was expected for me to wait much longer & I had another appointment to go to.When I had made the appointment I explained my various injuries yet they didn’t document anything I had said and instead just relied on the notes from the ER.Furthermore, after I had arrived to the appointment, his medical assistant let me know that he was only able to check 2 injuries per visit so I had to choose what was hurting me most. This policy should have been made known to me when I was scheduling the appointment because I never would have booked it given that I have 5 serious injuries. This Policy is not only apathetic to practically anyone that gets into a serious accident but also highlights another failure within our healthcare system as I would have had to make 3 appointments just to get comprehensive care.

Rotator cuff repair
Dr. Domont is fantastic! He has a great beside manner and knows what he's doing. Not only did he take care of my shoulder; he repaired my son's knee a few years back. I highly recommend him and his staff!

Excellent first appointment experience
Dr Domont evaluated me extensively, explained things in detail, explained his treatment recommendation in detail, identified all the alternatives and explained them, too, and let me make my own decision as to how I wanted to proceed. He showed me my xrays and explained the images in detail. Staff was efficient and very friendly. Mt wait time after checking in was about 2 minutes. I was very happy with the appointment.

My elderly Mother broke her femur. Needed surgery within 1 day. Wasn't familiar with doctors in this area. Dr. Dumont was recommended by ER doctor. He was excellent, answered all our questions, very caring, and got her back walking! Highly recommend Dr. Domont!

Dr. Domont was amazing. My daughter had a severally torn meniscus and ACL. He repaired it perfectly. It has been one year since her surgery and she is faster than she was before surgery. He does not cut corners and requires all the necessary physical therapy to guarantee you are not a repeat customer. My daughter is a basketball player and was evaluated for standards for basketball before being released. I did beg for early release but his care and requirements were strict and he held to them. I am very thankful for him. So much so that I made sure my new insurance coverage includes him because I would never want anyone else to operate on me or my family.

Dr. Domont performed arthroscopic surgery on my hip for a labral tear and supposed FAI. Following the surgery I was having new pain that would not go away. I asked for a temporary handicap parking placard, which seemed reasonable following hip surgery and being on crutches, but he wouldn't give me one. Finally 3 mos post-op of constant pain he ordered another MRA. He reviewed it with me, but said he could see no reason for my pain. I went to another surgeon (one who knew how to read an MRA) and was told that I have a torn hip capsule (because Dr. Domont didn't repair it after the surgery) and I still have a torn labrum AND I have a torn ligamentum teres that most likely occurred during the surgery with Dr. Domont. And because I had pre-existing hip dysplasia, Dr. Domont should have addressed that issue first to prevent future labral tears. Now I need a total hip replacement. Thanks for nothing but pain!

Don’t waste your time or energy. I could explain the whole story behind our visit but I think all I need to say is....we were there for an hour. We talked with the Dr for 5 minutes. That should give you good enough information to make an informed decision on if you want to see him.

I gave him a hard time because he looked young when I met him, but don't let his youth fool you! He's an excellent experienced surgeon! My son had a thorough diagnosis, effective advice, followed by a successful surgery with follow up physical therapy constantly monitored by an attentive caring doctor. Couldn't ask for any better doctor!
