Everyone is very professional. When I expressed how nervous I was about getting injections in my back Dr Kalb assured me everything would be just fine. He explained everything to me. No surprises. I highly recommend Bone and Joint institute and Dr Kalb

Dr. Kalb and his staff were excellent in the care they provided during my recent office visit. I had an epidural in my lower back and had been told by different people that it was a very painful procedure and they always had to be out to sleep. However, they went to a different doctor at a different facility. Dr. McNamara, my orthopedic surgeon who I love and thoroughly trust sent me to Dr. Kalb for this procedure, therefore, I knew I was in good hands. I made them aware of my anxiety about having this done so they called me in something to help relax me before I arrived. I was truly amazed at how well it went. I’ve had more pain with steroid shots than this. The meds were uncomfortable once they were being administered but that’s to be expected, but it only lasted 2-3 seconds. The entire experience was no big deal at all and I would highly recommend Dr. Kalb. He and his staff were friendly and compassionate as well as very professional. 5 stars to them!!

Went Bone and Joint Center and Zach was first available. Has severe lower back pain. Zach took time with me and explained my X-rays and he gave me orders for physical therapy. Left a standing order for an MRI. Zach was very personable and truly amazing. He didn’t force other diagnostics just to make money. Gave meds to me and left it with me to optionally take the meds. Zach was professional and would return.

I have had severe back pain. I was not interested in surgery, so I made an appointment with Dr. Kalb and was very please with his explanations and efforts. He understands the pain and will not give up on providing relief. I highly recommend him.

It was pleasant as usuals

I wasn't totally sold on the Bone and Joint Institute in Franklin at first... then I met Dr.Zachary Kalb. He's the group's physiatrist and an serious expert in epidural spinal injections and other injections that help folks like me avoid surgery. My spinal injections took me from horrifying numbness in my legs to something that's manageable--and pain basically free. When I first met Dr. Kalb, I had difficulty walking--now, I'm walking at a brisk pace and jogging on the treadmill for 60-70 minutes every single day! Dr. K also hooked me up with one of their physical therapists who was absolutely wonderful! I've been to PT at Star and PT at St. Thomas and neither did any more for me than I could figure out myself by watching a couple YouTube videos. The PT at Bone and Joint worked on me AND, more importantly, have taught me how to start helping myself. Check out the B&J Inst., and--if you're in pain or having trouble moving--ask for Dr. Kalb. He's helped to give my life back!

Dr. Kalb is a brilliant and caring physician. On my first visit, he listened carefully to all my symptoms and truly cared that I was suffering. Unlike the other physicians I had seen, Dr. Kalb ordered an MRI and diagnosed my spinal condition immediately. Dr. Kalb is the direct reason I am able to walk again! I had given up hope and resigned myself to a life of disability and pain. My most heartfelt thanks will always be to Dr. Kalb. I thank God for Dr. Kalb every day!

I’m reviewing Dr. Zachary Kalb, D.O., who practices in Franklin, TN, at the Bone & Joint Institute. I had an epidural steroid injection on February 20, 2020, for back pain caused by a ruptured disk. Dr. Kalb was professional, efficient, and personable. My husband had the same type of injection from a different provider, and he had a bad experience. The injection that Dr. Kalb administered to me was not painful at all, and I have already noticed improvement in my symptoms.

He was very nice and answered all my questions. The procedure went very smoothly.
