He is amazing. He fixed my neck when other doctors didn’t even order the diagnostic testing that Dr Temple did. He found the problem and did my surgery. His staff on the Neuro Brain and Spine Floor at Good Sam are also top notch. I’ve had over 30 surgeries in my life, and I can’t remember getting better care at a hospital. His office staff run like a well oiled machine. My neck is fixed! The post op care by his staff has been beyond great. They are kind, understanding, knowledgeable, and professional.

From the check-in process to the doctor’s consultation and all the way through check out, it was a very positive experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The check-in process was very smooth and easy. The wait was very short and the waiting area was very comfortable. Dr. Tempel was very engaging and knowledgeable. He provided several recommendations as to the best course of action for my condition.

Dr. Tempel is very easy to talk to. Takes the time to explain things and listen to your concerns.

My wife was fortunate to have Dr. Tempel to do her complicated spinal surgery! Everything went as planned. We took the family in with us on the first appointment so we would all be in agreement. We are definitely happy with the results of her surgery!! Thank you again!!

I was in pain for almost a year before I finally decided that the only way I was going to get my life back was having surgery. I was unable to walk any distance because of severe right leg pain and numbness at times. Dr. Tempel and his staff including Maddie, Kara and Marla were all wonderful and very helpful. I also have to mention Dr. Kuhn who was part of this surgery. Today I had my 2 month check after having a 3 level fusion with rods. I have already graduated from physical therapy and am able to walk 3 miles without pain. My only regret is I didn't do this sooner. Thank you so much Dr. Tempel !!!!

Dr. Tempel’s diagnosis and recommendation to have spinal fusion surgery was scary. His patience, kindness and understanding of my pain, numbness and tingling made me feel better. His Team at Mayfield Brain and Spine welcomed me with their caring hearts and reassurances of ‘my success’ as I prepared for the surgery with physical therapy and home preparations. Mayfield’s Surgery Center and Team of Doctors, Anesthetists, RN’s and Admin’s is the finest in Cincinnati, OH. I’ve never felt more safe, supported and cared for with anyone group. My spine and neck muscles are healing and I feel stronger already. My symptoms prior to surgery are all but a distinct memory as I begin to resume gym workouts and living my life pain free. I know I have a few months before I’m completely healed, but I’m really excited to be having fun again! I will recommend Mayfield Brain and Spine to all my family and friends. Had a 2 level discectomy and fusion with Dr. Tempel. Very professional and extremely competent surgeon. Had total resolution of symptoms and no complications afterwards. Absolutely would recommend!

I don't want to be too dramatic, but Dr. Tempel gave me my life back. Prior to surgery, any quality of life was missing. I can now look forward to being able to walk without the severe pain I had in my back. Also, Kara, Maddie and the whole team were extremely helpful to making my back surgery go smoothly so that I could concentrate on getting better.

If I could give a higher rating that 5 Stars, I would! Dr. Zachary Tempel provided the finest care and solution for me, a person who had an extreme case with their L5-S1. I injured myself after years of sports, back problems, sciatica, and continual issues. Dr. Tempel and the awesome staff of Mayfield Clinic fixed me. My back is now completely pain free and in the best alignment and shape it has been in 25+ years.

I have had two surgeries and now in the process of scheduling a third. Each sugery has helped me to have less pain and more feeling. I would recommend scheduling an appointment with Dr. Temple to discuss any spine related issues. He listens and is not condescending.

Dr. Temple and the whole staff at Mayfield Brain and Spine are the best!! From consultation to diagnosis to surgery to physical therapy, all of the Mayfield staff provided excellent care. Today was my 6 week post-op check up and as soon as Dr. Temple came in the room, I told him he is my favorite person in the world. He quickly diagnosed my herniated disc and scheduled surgery right away. From the minute I came out of anesthesia, I was pain free.
