Dr. Zahid Akram, MD

My first visit with Dr Akram was this afternoon Wednesday May 29th., Dr Akram diagnose me with Asthma. He performed a series of exams, ask me several questions. Spent adequate amount of time to evaluate my Health issue. Dr wrote prescription's & has referred me for injections, then return In July for PFT. Only disappointment was Dr Akram 'Bed Side Manner', He was all business!! I am grateful to him for his diagnosis, treatment. Thank You Dr Akram

My pcp didn’t know why my breathing & sleep were so bad. Dr. Akram figured out the problem & worked out an action plan for me & new meds. He keeps digging until he finds the problem. I knew he could help. Best pulmonary & sleep doc I have had. Sometimes wait times are long, but, take into consideration the types of patients he treats. Your appointment is as long as it needs to be to help you.

I honestly don't know how anyone could give Dr Zahid Akrim a bad review! I have seen him 3 times this year. He has, each and every time, taken his time, listened to me with interest & intent, did a thorough exam, ran the appropriate tests and followed up exams were in complete detail, leaving me with no questions and completely informed! In addition, the girl at the desk is ALWAYS polite, helpful, even on the phone! I would and do recommend them 100% without hesitation! Tammy K.

He was very professional. He asked a lot of questions. He explained everything and answered all my questions. He really spent the time to make me better. I am very thankful to have found him. Great staff also

Had an appointment scheduled. Told to be there 15 mins before appointment time 40 mins after appt time put in a room 40 later still not seen by dr. An Hour and 30 mins waiting to see dr and never did! Left and will not return

Dr. Zahid M Akram runs an excellent pulmonology and sleep medicine office. He is very knowledgeable in his field, asks excellent questions in understanding the health of his patients, and analyses the data to provide an evaluation and instructions that are easy to understand. When I visit, I have the impression that he cares about my overall health, not just the sleep apnea that he is helping me to manage. He takes a tough love approach with his advice; but he wants his patients to have the best possible results. I trust his opinions and guidance.

Listens to each problem you have & addresses each one to take care of. Been very pleased with his care!

Dr. Akram has no bedside manners. He is there for the money and has no time for you. stay away.
