Bum knee
I have seen Dr. Malik many times during the past four years for both lower back pain and a torn Meniscus which has caused knee pain. He is low keyed concerned about your issue and in my case has given me shots and performed two back procedures under anesthetic. My back feels great and so does my knee. I would highly recommend him.

He is the worst pain doctor I have ever had. he appears to be nice but not able or willing to help with pain control.

Dr. Malik is a good doctor. He listens to you and explains issues in a way you can understand. He is a caring Dr. And actually made sure that I got help I needed for another situation not related to my treatment as his patient. He got in touch with the other professionals I needed to see and followed up to make sure it was taken care of. Because of his help my family is thriving. He knew me as his patient and because of that relationship he could see that something else was going on. To me that speaks volumes. He sees his patients as human beings and treats them that way. As with any medical.practice these days, staff turnover and changes in insurance and billing can cause some inconvenience but it's worth dealing with to continue seeing a top notch physician!

Dr Malik done surgery on me. In the middle of my surgery I woke up Malik was cutting my back open I was in a daze I turned an looked at him an he told me that I had some thick scar tissue. then I started screaming bloody murder because he started cut me open again. Malik put a nerve stimulator in me. After that I couldn't walk anymore because he messed me up so bad I was in a wheelchair. this happened in 2017. so please think twice before you let this man operate on you.

Because of patient load, recent departure of staff, and gov't regulations, scheduling is a pain - you'll have to take the same day and time every month or else wait longer for meds than you can get a prescription for. The staff is nice and office is clean. Dr. Malik is very conservative and he decides what you need - there's very little collaboration. Furthermore, I left his office multiple times with medications he told me he did not prescribe. So their controls and recordkeeping are flawed

Very happy to prescribe narcotics. Less helpful when trying to quit. He actually tried to GIVE me narcotics to help ease my withdrawals so I'd stay hooked. Borderline unethical IMHO.

As a retired Ph.D nurse, I want to assure all that Dr. Malik is exceptional due to his listening and observation assessment of each patient. I was fortunate to find him and following his instructions and giving me epidural blocks when needed he has enable me to move about with very little pain. His staff knows what they are doing, scheduling appointments and surgical procedures are a breeze. Don't expect to get a lot of pain pills as he wants to treat the problem, not cover it up.

Dr. Malik was the first doctor in years to correctly diagnose my debilitating back pain. When other doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong, they either dismissed me as "seeking drugs" or told me to seek psychiatric counseling. Dr. Malik knew exactly what was wrong the first time I saw him, and he has helped me more in a few months than all my other docs have in years. He genuinely listens to his patients, and he does not want to get them addicted to drugs! I would recommend him to everyone!
