Dr. Zane Maroney, MD

Dr. Maroney is an exceptional doctor in that he treated me as an individual with my unique case , and the result has greatly improved my quality of my life. He looked into every aspect of my health, beyond the psychological, and found things that others missed. His empathetic and intelligent approach to healthcare has changed my life! His cheerful and caring demeanor made me feel relaxed in a normally uncomfortable environment. I must say the decisions he made concerning my health care have changed my life. I am forever grateful!

Dr. Maroney was the first person who I felt truly listened to me and had good intentions for me. I was forced to be "voluntarily" admitted to Marymount Behavioral Center, though he told the nurses and doctors he didn't think I needed to be admitted, I could not be pink slipped, I wasn't pink slip-able. The nurses and doctors still threatened me with it and I had to go. He saw me first thing in the morning and told me how upset he was with the way they handled things, and he would have discharged me the day prior if he could have. He listened to everything I said, he was so friendly and sweet and even just talking to him that one time made me feel so comfortable and like someone was on my side. He set up an appointment for me with another psychiatrist and discharged me as soon as he could. I would absolutely recommend him to anybody that needs a psychiatrist, he was wonderful and he will listen to you. He has your best interest at heart.

Dr. Maroney has been a literal life-saver for me. He was instrumental in finding a diagnosis for me after spending 3/4 of my life as a "puzzle," according to other doctors. I'm now feeling like an entirely different person thanks to his treatment recommendations and finally have hope for my future. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
