Fabulous Doctor but the office staff are terrible! Rude and never helpful, hangup on calls, major attitude and the office manager is just as bad! Shame such a great doctor has such horrible office staff.

Dr. Mercadante is willing to listen and takes the time to answer all questions. She knowledgeable about current medical information in the news. She is not afraid to weigh in with her opinion. She is a caring, knowledgeable professional.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Mercadante for years. Mostly she’s thorough in the office. But once you leave there’s no hearing back from her. I needed test results and I emailed, message portal, phone calls. No one never called me back. When you call the office the staff is nasty with no compassion. I had pelvic pain and the doctor asked what I thought it was . It turned out to be stage 2 colon cancer. She also thought I was crazy. It’s like pulling teeth to get her to respond to anything, test results, questions, real issues. I emailed the office manager Michelle and she tried to help me but still no response from the doctor. My husband had an office visit and has health issues. He told Dr. he doesn’t sleep well and is weak and tired. She was supposed to give him a prescription after trying other medicine which didn’t work. We tried to contact her and per Michelle she changed her mind. She just wants the office visit and that’s it. This is not healthcare. Horrible

She is the best. Listens and gives sound professional advice. If all doctors were like her we wouldn’t need so many of them. Would highly recommend her.

She is the absolute BEST!!! She called me at home every day when I had covid and was caring for my 90 year old mom with covid. I would not have gotten through such an awful time with out her!

Dr.Mercadante listens to her patients a much needed skill which many other doctors forget.

Dr. Mercadante is one of the best doctors that I have ever visited. She listens and she refers you to great doctors if it is out of her specialty. She was tenacious with me when I was sick and multiple doctors could not find out what was wrong with me. She was able to direct me in the right direction.

She is not organized and will not review your history prior to an appt. Blood work goes to different labs, some tests never get submitted, and she does not call to review results, even after you leave messages and even when it is to investigate an acute condition (non-routine). I do not recommend this doctor.

What a breath of fresh air. I was so pleased with my appointment today as a new patient searching for a competent, caring, unrushed internist. Dr. Mercadante is professional, welcoming, and easy to understand. She explained everything and answered all of my questions. Although this was my first consultation visit, she spent over an hour of her time with me just reviewing my medical history and medications. My husband will see her this week as well. Our search for an excellent PCP has ended!

Dr. Mercadante seemed great- spends a lot of time with you, explains things very well. I was really excited to find my new doctors, BUT 3 weeks later I still haven't gotten a return call about my blood work which came back abnormal and I have left her 3 voicemails. Time to find a new DR cause who can be waiting around for weeks leaving messages to get no news in return?
