Abby Griesbach

What an amazing human being who genuinely cares about her patients. Abby and I have been on a journey of mental health improvement together for years now, and she has dedicated herself to helping me to improve and refine the skills needed to cope and manage anxiety and an eating disorder. I recommend Abby to those who want a therapist who challenge you to think and soul search. She is amazing, truly.

Every time we walked in it was like she forgot everything from the previous appointment. At one point she told me I needed to be calm before I could address something, so I came calm to the next appointment and she said I could no longer address it because it would be bringing up the past. Very sexist views of relationships. Relies on stereotypes instead of trying to get to the root of the issue or recognize an unhealthy pattern of behavior.

Abby has helped me so much over the last year. I have had many therapists over the years and I've gotten more from working with her, than all of the other therapists combined. She remembers me and what I'm struggling with, I don't have to repeat myself all the time. She always is helpful and I leave always feeling better. When I have anxiety attacks, I immediately do what Abby says to try, and it works. You can tell she cares about her patients!

Abby is amazing. She is very trauma informed, client centered, and empathetic. Abby pushes me outside my comfort zone to examine my core beliefs and distorted thinking patterns. Abby is the only counselor I have had in my adult life that truly cares about my progress and works to help me process some really heavy emotions. I trust that Abby has my best interest in mind and I trust her therapy process.

Abby is awesome. She helps you to see what you refuse to see yourself, challenges you to step outside your comfort zone, & doesn’t judge you for feeling uncomfortable. I value her as my therapist. I think she provides a good balance between being sensitive to how you are & pushing you to where you need to go. She doesn’t let you take no for an answer with progress, she wants you to do well & help you figure out what’s holding you back. I see myself improving with Abby’s help & intend on continuing to see her for that help.

She hits the ground running and thoroughly helps you process. She challenges and empowers, I feel fortunate to have her as my therapist.

I've never walked out of a doctor's appointment before in my life and frankly I should have done so sooner. She is one of the worst people I've come in contact with in Theda care. Unable to explain, refuses to elaborate or perhaps she's just ignorant to her own methods, she deflects when questioned about anything relating to treatment. Inexperienced and unprepared, she interrupts and focuses only on comments that support her demented theories including sabotaging marital advice. I highly recommended seeking help anywhere else or as she suggested to me instead of providing materials herself, Google it.
