Abraham Kimeli, NP

Abraham Kimeli allows his patients to experience verbal abuse by his front desk staff. I was left in tears one day and he said he would take care of it. When I finally spoke up about the abuse his staff puts his patients though (there’s plenty of other patient reviews of his practice at State Street Behavioral)—when I posted a review on Google after exhausting all measures of trying to get him to address behaviors of his receptionists —I received a letter in the mail two days later informing me I was being discharged from his practice because they “couldn’t provide the level of care you expect.” I believe this was a retaliatory measure. It’s his right to discharge patients who speak up about the abuse—but it’s also my right as a human being to warn others about him and his business. I write this so other patients in need of compassionate care can make an informed decision.

Dr. Kimeli is a kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and professional doctor. He listens and gives great feedback to all of my concerns. I have never had a doctor that I've felt comfortable to be myself around until him. I highly recommend!

When my brother moved back to Saginaw he was in pursuit of a new physician and since he knew that I was in search of a new doctor for my entire family he recommended that I try out Dr. Kimeli. So once we found that he was accepting new patients and we all transferred. My brother saw him first and raved about how knowledgeable he was and how he was such an easy doctor to talk to. From our first visit on we have found Dr. Kimeli to be absolutely wonderful. He was extremely personable, friendly and professional. He was easy to talk too and have an actual conversation that included the patient, which made discussing medical issues and making serious decisions so much easier. He is a great listener and responds with information and advice that you can not only understand but also follow up with to achieve favorable outcomes. Since treating our family, my brother and I have made it a point to let everyone know that Dr. Kimeli is our doctor and we will wait longer for an appointment
