I wish I could give zero stars to Adam Schwebach’s office. Even one star is too generous. After six hours of testing and repeatedly asking if they needed anything else, they failed to have me complete critical forms. When I returned the next week—as scheduled—I was blindsided. They couldn’t provide my results due to their own mistake. I completed the forms on the spot and was promised results within a day or two. That was over twelve weeks ago. When I followed up, I got incomplete results, rude responses, and more excuses. At this point, I wouldn’t trust their findings anyway. This office has shown zero professionalism, organization, or accountability. If you still work with them, record everything. Calls, conversations, emails—because when they change their story, you’ll need proof.Protect yourself. I wish I had never trusted this office.

Horrible person
Adam Schwebach is unprofessional and lacks critical thinking skills, not only was he arrogant and unkind, he also is a danger to his patients, and from the reviews that I have seen and from my own experiences you should not go here, especially if you’re an adult autistic like myself, he tells me that he doesn’t see how I’m autistic, there were several psychologists and therapists that have diagnosed me with autism and have done redone testing several times, then has the gall to say I am faking and over exaggerating my symptoms, he then threatened to send me to mental institution if I didn’t “confess to faking”, I also have ptsd, and severe trauma, but decided he knew all about me only talking to me for 30 minutes at tops, he also said the tests were inconclusive which is why he thought that, but rather than try and figure out or do retesting, why he decided to threaten me, in fact the first thing he did was threaten to institutionalized me, which also triggered me

Tremendous gratitude for Dr. Schwebach & his staff
I highly recommend, and have recommended Dr. Schwebach for the past decade. His tremendous wisdom, patience, kind and approachable demeanor make difficult situations far less stressful. With Dr. Schwebach’s guidance, we are full of hope and better equipped to best handle our children’s mental health concerns. We are very grateful for him and his entire staff.

I sought testing from Adam Schwebach for ASD. Unfortunately, I learned too late that he will not diagnose an adult with mild forms of ASD. In his words, "unless your hands are flapping and you have an intense interest in sprinkler heads" he will not diagnose you with autism. However, I didn't know this up front. I was put through hours of testing for ASD, trusting I would have an accurate diagnosis. However, Adam's intern did all the testing and interviewing, and even read his diagnosis to me. Adam never met with me at all during this time. Only when I asked for a meeting with him about his diagnosis, which did not match my characteristics at all, did I finally learn of his unwillingness to diagnose mild autism in adults. He then tried to convince me that his alternative diagnosis would be OK since the counseling would be the same. I have since received a diagnosis from Huntsman of ASD 1. Life is challenging enough with ASD. It is more difficult with experiences such as this.

Dr. Schwebach is one of the best psychologists in Utah. He diagnoses patients based on testing data and observation rather than what the parent is hoping to hear. I think some of the negative reviews on here are probably from parents who wanted a different result for their kids. It was difficult for me to come to terms with my son's autism at first (he will have to work so much harder to maintain good relationships and be successful in society) but after Dr. Schwebach showed me the testing data, it was easy to see that he was correct. His staff are well trained, professional, and friendly. Their policies and client expectations are given up front and easy to understand. In my career I work with kids and teens with disabilities and mental health services. I have worked with many psychologists and Dr. Schwebach is one of the very best.

He treated one of my family members and accidentally sent the wrong test results without any further discussion. He has very little knowledge based on neurological and psychosocial symptoms for adults with trauma and navigating mental health events. As a healthcare practitioner myself, I’m very disappointed in his ability to communicate with his patients and their family members.

We had 2 of our children evaluated at Dr. Schwebach's office and really found his observations completely spot on. He saw the same things we saw at home without us providing those details. He made great suggestions on what therapies would be best. We feel like he really cares for his patients and would highly recommend him. His office staff were amazing and helped us through everything. The wait to see him is a few months out but it was totally worth it.

I have been seeing Dr. Schwebach for several years and he has helped me so much. I had trauma from abuse and was suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. He helped me through a high-conflict, 2.5 year divorce and has always been kind and respectful. He really knows his stuff, too. I don't know what I would have done without his help.

Dr. Schwebach is very unprofessional, disingenuous and arrogant. Testing was done on our child to determine his needs. We later made a "testing results" appointment to determine next steps/treatment. He did not review our child's test results beforehand. He read our child's results for the first time right in front of us. He asked us questions to "keep us talking" while he read through the results, ignoring our responses. In the end, he offered a hodge-podge of psycho-babble. Don't waste your $.

Horrible experience with employees who do not follow through! I would not refer this office to anyone! Waited for over 30 minutes had a meeting for less then 5 minutes billed for $100+. They can not figure out my insurance even though they say they take it.
