I came to see her because I was depressed. Not only wasn't she helpful, she actually made it worse with her ill-informed comments. I don't know what school she went to, but it was certainly not one that would be proud of her ability to understand, empathize and offer concrete help to someone who was depressed. I asked her for a reference to a psychiatrist to determine if medication would be a proper form of treatment for me. She was going to send a reference to me and never did.
