Worst Specialist
The most rude, uncaring specialist I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. She was dismissive of a condition that I have ALREADY been diagnosed with by “actual” sleep doctors, and refused to discuss solutions for the rare sleep condition I have, aside from recommending “Sleep Therapy and proper Sleep Hygiene.” So, all I needed to do for 30 years in order to get a full nights sleep, was to talk to a therapist about sleep?? Wow, who would’ve guessed it could be so simple! Oh wait…it isn’t that simple. Luckily for me, I have since found an amazing sleep doctor who listens to me and validates the symptoms I am having, rather than dismissing them.

After several years with another sleep doctor, I had my first meeting with Afua. My sleep apnea has been largely under control for a while, and I will only meet Afua annually. So, I consider myself a low maintenance patient. Still, she has a very calming and welcoming spirit which I could see even though she wore a mask (for COVID-19). I enjoyed the session very much.

very friendly and attentive, only saw her once, today was my first visit with her to establish primary care, I was pleased with her, only reason not giving 5 stars is because Ive only seen her once
