Albert Nguyen, LCSW

Albert is such an amazing therapist who is very experienced and thoughtful. He worked with my child and I through Stanford Healthcare during very challenging times. My daughter suffered from a chronic illness that would cause her to have severe OCD-like symptoms which made managing her daily life almost impossible. So with the constant medical appointments, the pandemic, school lockdowns, we were not adjusting and coping well. Upon meeting Albert, I felt so much hope and relief that things could ACTUALLY get better. Albert stuck with us through the ups and downs of my daughter's symptoms and my fluctuating stress of parenting during COVID. He was one of the only medical appointments that my daughter looked forward to attending! There were a few times she was so excited to see him because she wanted to share an experience she felt proud of as it related to things they talked about in session. He helped her feel accepted. He also helped me self-care and parenting. I'm so grateful for him
