Beyond awful -
This person should not be in this field. He prescribed the strongest antibiotics - when tests showed no infection. Twice.

Awful communication
Alex is awful as a primary care provider. He does not properly address issues. He spends the entire time typing on the computer. I had abnormal lab results that he didn’t even bring up. I had an abnormal scan, concerning for cancer, he had someone from office staff call to tell me something showed up on my brain scan and I need an mri. I had many questions that could not be answered by a receptionist. This is not the first time I have experienced this poor unsympathetic communication from Alex. I am in the health care profession and had access to other providers, I had to reach out to someone else to get information about my cat scan. I messaged Alex and never heard back. Regarding my office visit, when I read the after visit summary I saw he put down that addressed issues that were never discussed in the office. I am in healthcare and if I treated patients the way Alex does I would be ashamed of myself. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer he told me through the portal, no call.

HORRIBLE! ZERO STARS! Why is this guy a nurse practitioner? His entire visit is spent typing on the computer, couldn't care less about the patient, horrendous bedside manner, his qualifications are questionable considering he provides the absolute minimum care possible.... is he in & out in 10 seconds because he simply does not know how to treat patients properly? Lack of skill? Lack of education? Or just does not care about helping sick people? What is it? MANY patients have given him terrible reviews all over the internet, yet what is Penn Medicine doing to fix it? NOTHING!

Alex really takes the time to listen. He makes himself available in person, by internet and he’s even asked me to photograph something for a better look. He smart, confident and was able to diagnose a condition specialists missed! He is someone you want in your corner!

Very impersonal and unprofessional. Refuses necessary care of the patient. He was incredibly rude and spent the entire appoint checking boxes on a computer instead of an actual examination
