When I first moved to SC in early 2022, my hearing aids were reaching the end of their warranty. Upon hearing they would need to be sent in and I would be without them I cried thinking I would be without aids for that time. I was offered “loaners” to get me through the time mine were away having their final free maintenance done on them. This last week my hearing aids were not working properly and it caused much anxiety not knowing if it was the equipment or my ears. Dr. Alexandra Tarvin’s office had an opening and I am walking out with my hearing aids working correctly again!She and her staff are professional and efficient while being calming and reassuring. I had a wonderful visit with Dr. Alexandra. She answered my questions and set my mind at ease about some of my concerns. She explained the tests that she gave me and then discussed the results with me. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone with hearing and or tinnitus concerns.

I had a very positive initial visit. Staff was friendly, professional and thorough. I was impressed by the investment in the latest, most advanced technology. I was equally impressed by the absence of a post-examination pivot to a sales pitch for the latest in mega-buck hearing aids - something I have experienced almost universally at other hearing clinics. Without prompting, Dr. Tarvin's approach was to test, update, reprogram and improve my existing instruments (from big-box Costco). Further, even though I went to Elevate Audiology because of their newly FDA-approved tinnitus therapy, Dr. Tarvin suggested we first work on preserving and maximizing my fading hearing; which in turn should lessen the amount of perceived tinnitus. Again, this demonstrates she puts the patient's care above maximizing clinic income. I feel very comfortable in my selection of Dr. Tarvin and Elevate Audiology for my long-term hearing and tinnitus care.

This was my first experience with any audiologist and I was kindly welcomed and walked through the entire process. The front desk receptionist was very kind and promoted a welcoming and comfortable environment. Dr.Tarvin is very knowledgable and explained everything that she was doing with me. I feel much better and have walked away with advice to care for my ears in the future. I was very pleased with this visit and would 100% recommend Dr.Tarvin to anyone!

Professional, courteous, thorough, all these apply! I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and was ushered back within a couple of minutes. I had their full attention while I was there and they took the time to answer all my questions and I had a lot being new to hearing aids. They even provided me with a loaner pair to try out for a couple of weeks that would provide them with even more data on me while I got used to having hearing aids in my ears. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with hearing loss!

I sought out Alexandra Tarvin specifically to hear about behavioral modification therapy for my tinnitus. She was (is?) one of the only audiologists in South Carolina who specifically advertised herself as a tinnitus specialist. I was very impressed with her knowledge, expertise and delivery. She gave me solid advice based on research and medical realities. I would highly recommend her to others who are struggling with tinnitus.

Very informative visit in which I felt respected and the doctor was not rushed acting, but took the time to answer all my questions. All staff were friendly and helpful.

I am impressed with everything at Elevate. The equipment is up to date equipment with what appears to be the latest in software used for testing and for automating the set up process for the hearing aids. I am quite familiar with computers and I am fascinated with the capability of the system and how Dr. Tarvin uses it to get my hearing aids set up for me. Her explanations for whatever question I asked were clear, and she answered every one. I have to believe that I chose the right office and the right people for my hearing issues!
