Does not relate well
I was a client of Alice’s for several months, but never felt connected or affirmed. She typed on her laptop throughout every session and rarely made eye contact. She seldom remembered much from previous sessions. And I always felt worse after seeing her. For example, I once told her a very cruel comment that my narcissistic supervisor had made to me, and she replied, “Do you think you secretly wanted him to say that to you?” I found another therapist soon afterwards, who is insightful, compassionate, and supportive.

I met with Alice 5 years ago during one of the most vulnerable times of my life, in a collaborative divorce process. After clarifying she was impartial and ' present to help" I found her to be be untherapeutic and non helpful, She minimized my feelings and concerns, and did not seem genuinely interested in my circumstances. me. " I have fears that my soon to be ex husband will move his over bearing mother to his home and have her raise my daughter" Reponse. " One of my female clients has an ex husband who now dates a stripper and she picks the children up from school" I found the sessions dismissive and condescending. Both my ex spouse and myself finally agreed on one thing! lol

Alice is amazing in all aspects of care, counsel, and resources. I have sought her counsel during many challenges I have faced over the past 25+ years. Alice is ‘where I go’ when I need help. Alice has helped me in overcoming my own addiction, near divorce (still happily married!), dealing with family member addiction, strained family relationships, the list goes on. I cannot overstate the positive impact Alice has had on my life.

I'm an attorney. I’ve worked with Alice several times and I LOVE the caring that she brings into the collaborative process! Alice is a strong facilitator, both talented and experienced at leading divorce teams. She remains neutral, reminding and refocusing the spouses on their goals and interests when emotions start to run high. She quickly discerns when a client might need a break. Her ability to communicate with our clients, despite their inevitable stress, also makes her a great team leader.

Alice is a gifted therapist and mental health professional. I am an attorney in Tampa. I have referred clients in need to Alice because I know she will solve what needs to be solved. She's the first person I went to when I needed help for my own family.

Alice is an amazing, caring and gifted therapist. She has helped both of my children (who are now grown) at different times in their lives as well as worked with my husband and myself to enhance our marriage and become better parents. She sincerely cares for each of her patients and takes the time to deliver excellent advice that can only come from years of experience along with her God-given talents and intuition. She is very sought after due to word of mouth - prepare to be blessed by her!

I have no confidence in Boullosa's judgment. She either failed to understand the severity of our child's issues or wasn't skilled or adept enough to recognize them for what they were. She was glib and smug. She should have realized she was in over her head and referred us to someone who could actually help. I would strongly advise families with children in crisis or distress to find someone with a higher degree of skill and insight.
