Alisha Brincefield

I've been a patient of Nurse Practitioner, Alicia Brincefield (out of preference for a female medical professional) since 2015. I have had two tumors, and Alicia has advised me who to see and where to go. I also went to them to have my heart looked at because heart disease runs in my family and I wanted to be proactive for any issues. The office staff has always been very helpful to get appointments scheduled at the hospital for me, for any tests I've needed. One time, after doing research on a surgeon that I was referred to, I wanted a different option for a surgeon, and Nurse Diane was very understanding and helpful in giving me a list of qualified surgeons (for what I needed done) to choose from. Even though they only see me every few years when I need them, I continue to consider them my main medical providers, and would recommend their care to others.

I saw the NP, Alisha Brinsfield, at this office when I couldn't get into my own doctor. The nurses were amazing. Alisha was cold and put me through unnecessary tests that cost me thousands of dollars. I spent 6 hours running back and forth to the hospital for even more tests. By the end of the day, I had never spoken to her leaving me with numerous questions. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and sent home with one antibiotic and no steroid. I have asthma and a history of pneumonia. I asked several times for prednisone and was told I didn't need it. When I saw my actual NP today, he apologized for the experience on Friday and gave me prednisone. I will never ever go to her again!
