Sad
I am glad to know I’m not the only one. Alison used to be amazing. After 2020, she’s changed. We don’t know if she’s going or went through any life changes. But she definitely changed. She was by far the best therapist I had. But she changed.

Alison will let you down. She constantly cancels appointments, and is flighty and inattentive. Alison has lost her touch with therapy. She used to have so much more to offer. Such a sad therapist.

I arrived to my first appt with Alison approx 10 mins early. Sat in the waiting room and was never greeted by anyone. After it got to be 20 mins past my appt time, I tried calling but got a vm. I left a message telling her I was leaving. She emailed me later in the day with no apology or explanation as to why she didn't show up to my appt. I can't believe someone in the mental health profession would treat people this way.

I wish I would have met Alison many years ago. She has been fully engaged in all of our sessions, listens intently, maintains eye contact, never appears bored, and is truly more help than I have ever received before. We have conversations. Great conversations. The clinical element is missing here and I am glad - it is cozy, trusting and safe in her office. It is exactly what I need to be able to say everything I think. It is very rewarding and I feel accomplished when I leave her office.
