Dr. Rooney recently met with my son and did a very thorough and intensive evaluation. This is the second time we have been to Dr. Rooney, and I will always recommend him to anyone looking for help. The first time we met him his diagnosis of my son was spot on. The report that he gave us was so helpful in dealing with the school and asking for accommodations for him. Here we are years later, and I only wanted Dr. Rooney to re-evaluate him. He is very professional; his report is clear and to the point. We had to wait a little for the appointment, but it is definitely worth it.

Polite and compassionate staff. This is my second experience with Dr. Rooney. He did two successful evaluations on my son. He showed the same level of professionalism as I remembered from my previous experience. The evaluation was taxing. He asked several times how I was feeing and asked if I'd like a break. Dr. Rooney was very encouraging, and sensitive to my feelings throughout the testing. I have and will continue to refer him to anybody that need it. I'm very grateful to have found him in an otherwise over whelmed health care system in this country.

Great Experience

Both of our kids have been seeing Dr. Rooney for a few years now and plan to continue to do so in the future. He is not only an excellent practionare but he is considerate and takes the time to explain things. We would highly recommend Dr. Rooney!

My husband and I found it was very helpful in understanding his condition. My son is now getting the services he needs at school thanks to Dr Rooney’s recommendations. My PCP recommended seeing Dr Rooney for my daughter's learning difficulties in school. He helped me so much in not only diagnosing her but also including follow up information and additional practitioners for guidance. The last half of her school year was a complete 180. I was so impressed that I then went through with testing for myself. My own results helped to cement the issues that I knew I had been struggling with. Dr Rooney also led me to different paths of treatment for me.

I heard the process of getting an evaluation would take months. I was pleasantly surprised when we were given promt attention.

Dr. Rooney's intake approach was very thorough, he asked comprehensive questions and spent an adequate amount of time with us. We did not feel rushed and felt Dr. Rooney got a good picture of the issues. The testing was scheduled within a couple of weeks and we received the results shortly after. We were very satisfied with how quickly the process took. The results explained the situation perfectly and we trusted Dr. Rooney's recommendations. Would definitely recommend him.

Being referred to Dr. Rooney was one of the best things to ever happen to myself and my daughter. After testing her, I received answers to the many questions I had about her learning or lack there of. Having new diagnoses allows the school to know how to best help her learn. He spends the time with both the parents and the child before determining if a diagnosis is warranted. Dr. Rooney also provides resources to the parents for additional information.
