My experience was humiliating and I felt horrible.
Telehealth
I'm a 43 year old married man, and I'm just now dealing with health issues that have troubled me for a few years now. It takes a lot for a man to come out and discuss their problems and when I went to my doctor and told him about my depression and libido he tested me for low T. My numbers are borderline low, and when I read up on the issue it was exactly what was happening to my body and my mind. So he scheduled me with a urologist so that I could get testosterone replacement therapy. After months of waiting on a doctor's appointment my day has finally come. I was seen by the PA Allison Panganiban. She was slouched over in a pair of sweats, barely paid any attention to me, and then told me that she didn't feel like she could provide the therapy for me. WHAT!?! How is she going to tell me that I can't have the one thing that I need to bring me back to life? I don't understand how if my numbers are low, and my doctor agrees she denied me. I felt completely humiliated by her.
