Dr. Allyssa Kashat, DPT

I have been to several different PTs and Allyssa has been the most helpful and knowledgable by far. She identified my hyper mobility and helped explain what that meant for me both now and going forward. She not only helped fix the problem I was seeing her for but also helped me set up a program going forward to help strengthen my hyper mobile joints without stressing them. She was patient and really listened to me. I was discharged today and I’m honestly sad I don’t have to see her anymore because she did in 2 months what other PTs never have. I’ve been hyper mobile all my life but no PT has ever addressed it as part of the problem. In fact they have given me exercises that have directly exacerbated those problems.Allyssa has made such a difference, not only in my treatment but in my understand of my own body and what I need to do to help take care of it. She is passionate about her job and compassionate about her patients and I am so grateful to have found her.
