Altagracia Martinez, MSW

I hope this post helps others before they fall under her care. Altagracia is a very self involved and reactive therapist. To the point where she makes her patients feel intimidated and judged. It was hard to be honest with her as she would regularly respond surprised or with a judgmental facial expression to anything she deemed to be abnormal or inappropriate behavior. Her opinions about the world are regressive and conventional, or out-dated. She made me feel like I was constantly being reprimanded by my mother. I hope this post helps her adjust better to her patients and make them feel more welcomed and comfortable, or that it serves as a warning sign to people considering to be under her care.

I personally like Ms. Martinez a lot. She is a great therapist and in tuned with me as a patient. She is nonjudgemental and caring.

I use to see Ms.Martinez mental and emotionally harmed my mental stigma. She was like a mother to me, but she she very sexist about certain topic. Before seeing her I was a girl magnet, but when I was starting thing went downhill for me because she was very sexist and judgmental, she took her job way too seriously(in bad way), because of Ms Martinez I couldn't even hook with other women because I was scared that if I told her I had a one stand, she would judge me.
