Life Changing
Telehealth
Dr. Lucero has made such an impact on my life. She immediately knew what was going on with me with the little bit of information I gave her, and the blood and fecal tests confirmed what she had suspected. She has excellent communication and is very kind. I want everyone to go to her so they can feel as good as I do now!

Dr. Lucero is my go-to ND referral
As a fellow healthcare provider, I am always careful when making appropriate referrals for my patients who desire integrative, naturopathic medicine. Dr. Lucero is always my first thought when sending my patients to another provider who shares my values and will leave no stone unturned in assisting with someone’s whole health picture. She is not only competent, but personable, ever a student of the practice of medicine keeping up to date with research, trends, and new information. This is essential! Bravo to Dr. Lucero for offering the Salt Lake community and beyond such excellent health care.

BEST ND EVER!!!
Telehealth
I’ve been a patient of Dr Lucero for almost 10 years — her approach to medicine through traditional and holistic methods have changed my life! She cares deeply for her patients and their health journey. The Utah state law doesn’t allow ND’s to take health insurance BUT most insurances cover blood work and HSA’s covers visits. Easy peasy, really no difference than a regular doctor visit when it comes to out of pocket pay. A very pleased and happy patient!

SHE IS BRIlLLIANT
Telehealth
After years of being exhausted and over weight all while doing everything I knew how to be “healthy”. I went to several traditional doctors through my network and all they did was try to diagnose me with Hashimoto's and PCOS giving me thyroid medication that had many negative side effects. As a young woman something still didn’t feel right. I didn’t believe I had thyroid disease. After months of struggling with major weight gain, not being able to sleep, acne, exhaustion, and not feeling like myself. I decided I needed another opinion! After meeting with Dr. Lucero and doing several panels she told me exactly what my body needed. To cut out gluten entirely. Take melatonin to sleep as my levels weren’t right. Take a certain type of methylated vitamin because I have a genetic mutation that SHE found making it harder to absorb certain vitamins! After implementing her advice over the next year I lost over 50lbs and am living my best life! Thank you Amanda! You really did save me!

Dr Lucero is amazing!
Telehealth
Dr Lucero has helped me immensely. She has holistically supported the anxiety and sleep issues I have been struggling with for years. Those symptoms are finally improving. More than that, she is an advocate for womens heath and her care has helped my pms and period symptoms dramatically. I trust her care implicitly.

Best ND
Telehealth
Dr Lucero is an amazing , caring doctor. Very well spoken, educated and knowledgeable. She has helped me with many issues I have been dealing with. As for the person who gave her a O . FYI Utah insurance does NOT cover ND doctors. I give her a 10 plus recommendation.

Dr. Lucero is intelligent, credible and intuitive. She has picked up on things other providers have missed in the past, bringing true results and healing. I am currently seeing her for hormonal care and look forward to her support in healing naturally. I have sent several people to her, and they have all said beautiful words about her treatment and care as well!

I took my daughter to so many different doctors and we could not find anyone who could help her. We took her to Dr Lucero and through blood work and a thorough discussion she was able to figure out what was going on. She has helped her feel so much better! She is a miracle worker! She is a great listener and all around very knowledgeable doctor. We are forever grateful for her knowledge and help.

I've been a patient of Dr. Lucero for about 4 years now and working with her to properly diagnose and treat my hormone, thyroid, and allergy issues have remarkably improved my life. I have found her to be very current with medicine and supplementation, and she is not afraid of complex issues. For the first time in decades, I feel balanced and well, after being estrogen dominant and also having an undiagnosed R-T3 thyroid issue. She has been wonderful, and I feel a fabulous 30! (I'm 50) If this is your first time seeing a naturopathic doctor, know that they work differently than a regular MD. The upfront fees are usually large, and often not covered by insurance. You'll spend an hour on your first visit, or maybe your second visit too, while you are being diagnosed. You'll be asked lots of questions as they dig for root causes and solutions. It's well worth the time and investment.

When making the appt. you have to pay a $100 fee. If you show up it goes towards your visit. Right off the bat the appt feels icky. First thing she talked about was that she knew her charges were not gone over with me and she wanted me to know that typically an appt. was $200-300. Then there are lab fees. She did not ask why I was there so I let her know that I was looking for an HRT Rx only and that she was 25 minutes late. She actually wanted to argue with me about the appt time and blamed it on the person who took my call. I read her bio and website information and no where was there any mention of any elaborate appts. and labs necessary which would have indicated the heavy fees. FYI its at the Gateway Mall, so there is the parking and its in a cosmetic surgery center. Not taking accountability for how your appts are made and pre-charging me is enough for me. NO thanks.

It's disappointing that western medicine has decayed in ignorance, fueled by insurance monopolies. Yet, Dr. Lucero sees medicine as anatomy and physiology. Without her I would not be able to find my true diagnoses. Sending vibes back! -C
