Disappointing experience.
Amanda Madurski did an extremely quick exam and I felt uncomfortable with never quite having clear vision as she progressed through the exam. The distance Rx (glasses) did not correct my vision so I sought out another Dr. for an exam 6 months later after summer driving on the interstate. The new Dr. found 'a substantial difference' between the 2 different eye exams (his words). Not only was I not having clearer vision but the glasses offered no protection from the sun. I was unhappy during my last yearly exam with her (also quick but distance glasses I did not order at that time). My mistake was not driving in the sun but it was January. 4 months later I drove into the sun on the interstate North into D.C. This is when I noticed just how bad the glasses were but they could do nothing for me. Just be sure time is taken and they do not rush you. And if you order transition lenses do realize there are strengths of them. I was never given any options. I won't be going back.

First, I waited over a half hour for the appointment upon arrival. I was given one prescription and told to call back to get another if it wasn't working out - which is weird. The office never returned my call. I was charged for a contact lens fitting even though I was told a LECOM student would not be charged and had to call to fix this. I realized when trying to order contacts online that she gave me one for glasses only. I don't have time to constantly be fixing errors of others.
