I've got impingement in one of my hips. That hip became weakened because of the impingement. While hiking, usually the descent, or even jogging across the street my hip felt as if it was going to give out or dislocate. Amanda was able to help me strengthen my hip to the point where that feeling of my hip giving out was gone. It was very easy for me to experience the difference. Coming down a mountain and my hip feeling secure was a great feeling. It seems the impingement can only be resolved by hip replacement or hip resurfacing (at least from the research I've done). If I do end up going down that route I'll gladly (!!) go back to Amanda for physical therapy after that.
