Dr. Amarachi and her office staff are wonderful people. She listens to me and asks really good questions to help me better tell her how I am doing. I am very satisfied with the care I am receiving from her. I recommend her 100%.

This doctor did not care about or respect my boundaries as a patient. When her ways are questioned, she becomes defensive and insists that you do what she says, without further questions, thus attempting to strip you of your own bodily autonomy. In my experience, when I addressed that I did not want her to do certain things to MY body, she continued to talk down to me and "explain" that I did not have a choice in how my "care" was administered. When I told her I would rather pay a cancellation fee than do what she was asking of me (aka something I did NOT want done to my body), she only repeated herself that "this is part of your care"— a "care" regimen that I did not want and verbally said “no” to multiple times. She pressured me into doing the regimen anyways, and expected me to simply act like she hadn't used her power as a physician to intimidate me into doing what she wanted, thus entirely disregarding my boundaries as a patient. Would not recommend.

Visits started off like she genuinely cared. Then they always felt very rushed. I wasn’t thrilled that my refills were sometimes for 2 or 3 days at a time. Constantly running back and fourth to the pharmacy. I just quit her practice today, after bringing up a few concerns that I had regarding statements made by Dr. Amarachi in recent appointments. She does NOT take questioning her ways well at all! She raised her voice and told me that she wanted to be appreciated for what she had done for me! Next she messaged her husband/ office manager while I sat there crying my eyes out and the the next thing I know he is in the room, voice raised, towering over me in my chair, telling me that I did not get them some information they needed.... (much more unpleasant than described!) All of this was completely unnecessary over a few simple questions that I wanted to clarify. I will NEVER go back to this office. Pit bulls have better manners.

Dr. Ogbonnaya saw me within hours of my first call. I was going to run out of my medication and she saw me even though she had already gone home for the day. Fantastic service. She really listened to me, empathized with me, and I didn’t feel judged at all. The facilities were nice and clean and the front desk was very nice and helpful. I’m so glad I saw Dr. Ogbonnaya.

She is a top-notch doctor. I would highly recommend her without hesitation. She has helped me move through a chronic illness to a place of much higher functioning.

I was referred to Dr. Amarachi by my therapist for medication management. My initial visit with her was the first time in many years that I felt like a provider paid attention to me and took note of my concerns. She made changes to my medications and I have been doing good since then. I am glad she is my provider.
