Amy Bartlett-Palmer

Amy was my primary care provider at Saugerties Wellness. She practices in Chatham NY now and I’d like to stay with her care. She is very personal and concerned about her patients.

She is AWESOME!!! Very friendly, very understandable, and extremely knowledgeable. She is working with this great new online program called Ophelia which focuses on substance abuse treatment for those struggling with drug/alcohol addiction. She did NOT judge me for my previous drug use, my current addiction struggles, or my history with addiction. Thus, allowing me to be more open-minded, honest with her (and myself), and making me extremely comfortable talking to her about my life. She is laid back and very easy-going so I didn't feel judged or uncomfortable telling her my real situation. She really took the time to hear my story and relate to my personal position in my recovery process. Unlike similar doctors in her position that are working with addiction, she made me feel as if I was the one in control of my treatment plan and therapy goals. Other doctors I have encountered made me feel as if I am being forced into treatment and should be ashamed of my past.
