Lacks empathy and interest in root cause
This was a terrible standard of care, probably the worst I've ever received. If you are someone who is relatively healthy, you are fine. But I've suffered from chronic issues and have tried to raise them with her. She seems to want to do the bare minimum. I asked for additional blood tests and she only ordered 1 of them. She doesn't investigate to help you get to the root cause. I've asked for referrals on who else in the medical field I could connect with and didn't receive any valuable recommendations. As a black woman, I was disappointed but not surprised since I find that our concerns are oftentimes ignored when we see doctors. But I had high hopes and gave her a shot. I'm going to find someone else who really has empathy for their patients, not just "checking off the boxes" in appointments.
