She treated me as if my telling her my needs were a burden. She derailed the conversation to talk at me about her personal trauma and medical history. I couldn't get a word in edge wise. I chalked up the first experience to her probably having nerves. She did it again at our second appointment and didn't listen to my needs regarding food trauma. She treated me as if my eating issues were somehow superior to others with disordered eating patterns. While ignoring my needs or concerns. When I told her I would no longer be working with her she dumped on me a pile of excuses for her poor boundaries. I explained as a person with compound marginalization such dumping was inappropriate and then she did it a second time. This woman has terrible boundaries and should not be working with people who have any kind of trauma or needs. Her listening skills need copious amounts of work along with her boundaries.

Amy really does use humor to encourage her clients in a meaningful way.
