Dr. Ana Ochoa, PSY.D

Unprofessional, arrogant, condescending, insulting, did not listen to me or my concerns at all and tried to diagnose me and get me on bipolar medication during my EVALUATION! I’m not even bipolar! I tried to tell her this but she was very arrogant and already made her mind up about my “type” without getting to know me then bragged about how if I didn’t like what she had to say “she had many other clients waiting to see her” worst psych I’ve seen. I’ve seen a different psych and therapist since seeing this psychologist (who are both great and listening to me) and both of them agreed she was unprofessional. I’m especially baffled since she’s was supposed to be a trauma specialist and lacked empathy and decorum ! I’m probably on ASD spectrum as a woman (according to a different psych, a therapist and I’m being seen by a ASD specialist in April.) but had I not advocated for myself and listened to Ana, I would have been one of many women on spectrum misdiagnosed as bipolar. A shame.
