Ana Popoca-Logue, NP

I was a patient for Ana at Prototypes' Pasadena location. Do NOT receive services from her. When I first met her, she wanted to already double my medications based off of Prototypes' AMFT notes and without getting to know me. On our second meeting, I thought maybe I was overreacting so I inquired about changing my medications after all. I wanted to tweak the dosages and take less of the weight gaining ones. I take lamitcal, seroqeul and lithium. Instead, she insisted that I didn't have a choice to do that and said my only option was to double either the lamictal or lithium. I had to remind her that lamictal causes a deadly rash, steven johnson syndrome, and should only be slowly titrated down or up like 25 mg. She wanted to have me double my lamictal and add 150mg within less than a week. I could tell she forgot about the rash for lamictal and downplayed it, saying she has only seen the rash happen once. I immediately left Prototypes and will now be at another medi-cal facility.
